In Britain Jack Straw got himself into hot water this week when he said he felt uncomfortable conversing with Muslim women whose faces were covered in a veil. He said it was a visible statement of separation and difference. The veil is becoming more and more common here in Ireland - so how do you feel if you come across a woman wearing a veil that obscures everything but the eyes? Are you comfortable with it, do you feel intimidated, do you feel excluded or should you care?
